On December 17, 2022, ISCI Foundation, in collaboration with RJN Hospital, conducted a Hemoglobin Check-Up Program at Padma Girls School, Gwalior. This health initiative aimed to raise awareness about anemia among young girls and ensure their well-being through timely medical intervention. This program marked another important step in ISCI Foundation's mission to promote health initiatives in Gwalior, especially for vulnerable populations like school-going girls.

The event was efficiently managed by dedicated volunteers, including Dhara, Rishav, Shivani, Nitesh, Bhumi, Khushi, Pawan, Gunjan, and Mayank, along with intern Bhumi. With the support of the experienced medical team from RJN Hospital, the volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth execution of the program, screening 210 students for their hemoglobin levels.

The comprehensive health check was conducted to detect early signs of anemia and educate the students about the importance of nutrition and regular health monitoring. The program was crucial in identifying students at risk, providing timely guidance, and encouraging healthier lifestyle choices among the participants.

This Hemoglobin Check-Up Program is part of ISCI Foundation's broader health initiative, focusing on preventing anemia in Gwalior and promoting better health outcomes for schoolchildren. The foundation’s continuous efforts in organizing such programs ensure that students receive the necessary medical attention they need to thrive in both academics and daily life.

The program at Padma Girls School contributes significantly to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, by addressing common health issues in underserved communities and providing solutions that promote long-term health and development.

By organizing regular health check-ups and collaborating with medical institutions like RJN Hospital, ISCI Foundation continues to be a leader in community welfare and healthcare initiatives. Programs like these also offer volunteer opportunities in Gwalior, allowing individuals to contribute meaningfully to their community while gaining valuable experience in social work.
