The event took place at Balika Grah, where the Foundation shared the spirit of freedom and patriotism with underprivileged children, reminding them of the significance of the nation's journey to independence.

A Commemorative Occasion

The event commenced with a sense of reverence as the Indian flag was unfurled by the esteemed chief guest, Dr. Veena Pradhan Mam, in the presence of the girls residing at Balika Grah. The flag hoisting ceremony stood as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by countless individuals to secure India's freedom.

Harmonious Anthem and Celebratory Spirit

Following the flag hoisting, the air resonated with the soul-stirring notes of the "Indian National Anthem." The shared singing of this anthem, a symbol of unity and pride, marked a collective affirmation of loyalty to the nation.

The celebrations continued with a blend of fun and learning, as volunteers and children engaged in a quiz, recited patriotic poems, and even sang and danced to the tunes of patriotic songs. The atmosphere was alive with enthusiasm, and the children's hearts swelled with pride as they participated in these engaging activities.

A Motivational Journey

To deepen their understanding of the struggle for independence, a short film titled "Journey of Independence" was screened. This powerful visual narrative brought to life the sacrifices and heroic efforts that paved the way for the nation's liberation. The film left an indelible impression on the hearts and minds of both the children and volunteers.

Sweet Gestures of Hospitality

Prabha International Hotel & Caterers, in a display of generous kindness, arranged delightful snacks and sweets for the girls and volunteers, adding an extra touch of warmth to the occasion. This gesture underscored the collaborative spirit of the celebration and left a sweet memory to cherish.
