🌱 Environmental Sustainability: Restoring Balance to Nature
Environmental protection is at the heart of our mission. With the alarming rate of deforestation, biodiversity loss, and climate change, we recognized the urgent need for reforestation and ecosystem restoration.
Seed Ball Distribution: To combat deforestation, we have distributed over 305,000 seed balls, an innovative method of replanting trees. These seed balls ensure that native plants grow in degraded areas, restoring natural habitats and promoting biodiversity.
Reforestation Efforts: We have successfully reforested 198+ acres of land, transforming barren landscapes into thriving ecosystems. Our efforts contribute to carbon sequestration, a critical step in mitigating climate change.
Plant Sustenance: Our dedication doesn’t end with planting. We’ve nurtured and sustained 100,000+ plants in forests, ensuring they mature into healthy, oxygen-producing trees. These initiatives are creating a legacy of green cover for future generations.
By addressing deforestation and promoting reforestation, we directly contribute to SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 15 (Life on Land). Every seed sown represents hope for a healthier, greener planet.
❤️ Healthcare for All: Empowering Lives Through Accessible Healthcare
Access to healthcare is a fundamental right, yet millions, especially women and girls, face barriers. At ISCI Foundation, we’ve prioritized addressing healthcare inequities by focusing on menstrual health and anemia awareness.
Sanitary Napkin Vending Machines: We’ve installed 37+ machines in schools and public spaces, ensuring easy and discreet access to menstrual hygiene products. This initiative is instrumental in reducing absenteeism among girls and empowering them to attend school with confidence.
Sanitary Napkin Distribution: We have distributed over 10,000 high-quality sanitary napkins, breaking taboos surrounding menstrual health and providing dignity to countless women and girls.
Hemoglobin Checkups: Our healthcare camps have tested the hemoglobin levels of over 9,800+ girls, identifying anemia—a common but preventable health issue. Through these efforts, we’ve offered dietary advice and medical support, empowering girls to lead healthier lives.
These initiatives align with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) and SDG 5 (Gender Equality). By addressing period poverty and anemia, we are fostering a future where every girl has the opportunity to thrive.
📚 Empowering Education: Building Foundations for a Better Tomorrow
Education is the cornerstone of sustainable development. At ISCI Foundation, we are dedicated to providing quality education and creating environments where students can excel.
STEM Labs: To inspire curiosity and innovation, we have set up STEM labs in schools. These labs provide hands-on learning experiences in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, impacting over 2,000 students. By equipping children with modern tools and knowledge, we are nurturing the next generation of problem-solvers.
Solarized Classrooms: Uninterrupted access to electricity is a game-changer for education. We’ve installed 2kW solar power plants in schools, ensuring students can study in well-lit and resource-equipped classrooms. This initiative has improved learning conditions for 250+ children, creating opportunities for holistic development.
By integrating technology and sustainability into education, we align with SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy). We envision a world where every child has access to transformative learning experiences.
